We're SO excited! Our very own Georgie Hollis is adventuring to Ireland at the end of May to lecture at the Irish Veterinary Nursing Association Conference! Let us know if you're going, we hope to see you there!
We're so proud of our 'Angels' (Registered Veterinary Nurses) who are setting new standards for the veterinary profession. Every CPD session delivered, every paper written and every product reviewed, is another step closer to achieving 'better, safer & kinder' ways of managing wounds and bandages. May is 'Veterinary Nurse Awareness' month, so if you don't know already, RVNs are worth their weight in gold, and their knowledge and skills can very much be utilised when it comes to wound management in practice! That's why, after our in-practice CPD sessions, we will help you nominate your very own 'wound nurse' (complete with badge!), to help lead and focus your approach to managing and troubleshooting wounds.
The Bandaging Angels are proud to be rolling out our guest lecture programme at all three 'Central College of Animal Studies' sites across the UK in 2024. We've tailored the programme to compliment the current student veterinary nursing syllabus to ensure that our lectures will provide support for their theory and practical exams. We're very excited to be supporting the next generation of veterinary nurses with evidence-based learning 🥰
Special thank you to Millpledge Veterinary for their very kind & generous donation of resources for the programme. We love Millpledge products and hope you all do too! ❤️ Whether you're a vet, RVN or student, are small animal, exotic or equine, are in practice or attending college, we can provide tailored support. Get in touch today - [email protected] and send us your queries. The Bandaging Angels team are delighted to present 3 interactive webinars covering the weird and wonderful wound care of the past, some of our favourite products of the present and the infinite possibilities that innovation brings for the future!
We love working with Veterinary teams to develop an evidence-based approach to managing wounds. We come into practice at a pre-booked convenient time, deliver a session of your choosing tailored to your team, and provide on-going support. We offer theory and practical learning to develop a confident approach to wound management and bandaging skills of all of your team members.
The Bandaging Angels are so grateful to have been invited to the Veterinary Technician study day held at DATR, Melton Mowbray on Thursday 16th November 2023. Georgie, Shelly, Lisa & Faye were in attendance to provide wound management and better bandaging lectures, as well as a practical suturing workshop! We're so proud of them for their effort and dedication to make the event a success. Everybody got involved and it turned out to be such a wonderful and exciting day! Also big thank you to Animus Surgical and Millpledge for their very generous sponsors of materials to support our lectures and workshops.
