Bandaging Angels Fiona & Jenny hosted the first of our upcoming Small Animal Roadshows at Westway Vets in Newcastle on the 3rd of April, bringing their expertise to local veterinary professionals.
Our Small Animal Roadshows focus on providing comprehensive theory & practical training to enhance wound management and bandaging skills that can be utilised within all aspects of veterinary practice. These events offer invaluable insights into the physiology behind wounds, why wounds don't heal and the science behind bandaging techniques, and much more! Our roadshows aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of each individual delegate, whilst fostering collaboration between colleagues, both at the events and within their respective practices when it comes to approaching the management of wounds and bandages so that they can achieve better, safer & kinder patient outcomes. Attendees were given hands-on experience, learning when to utilise different dressings and how to apply science to their bandaging techniques. We are proud to say that our first Small Animal Roadshow was positively received with outstanding feedback from the delegates in attendance, who appreciated the practical knowledge and support offered by both Fiona & Jenny. This sets the precedence for our other upcoming venues, and we're really looking forward to the next one on the 8th of May at Fife Zoo, Scotland!
