August Clinical Club. So why won't it heal?

Our 6th Clinical Club covering the subject of healing delay and the common reasons why wounds don't seem to want to heal.  This session features special guest Prof Jon Hall, European and Royal College Specialist in small animal surgery as he shares his insights with Georgie Hollis and discusses cases that they have supported over the years. 

​Subjects covered include a short review of the normal physiology of wound healing and the most common factors that inhibit normal wound progression. 
These include movement, tissue deficit, patient interference and wound infection.

This worksheet can be used to help identify factors that may delay healing as wound healing progresses. It can be used from first presentation to assist in planning and pre-empting complications as well as a troubleshooting list for when things aren't going to plan.
