Shelly has been an RVN for over 20 years now and has worked in many vet settings with many species. She is currently Head Nurse for a busy mixed animal practice, where her nursing passions include all things wound and bandage related, neonatal care and rehabilitation. Shelly completed the first Cohort of the BVNA delving deeper into wounds certificate and has been involved in the Bandaging Angels ever since. Not only delivering in house CPD, but speaking at conferences, marking course work and helping with the behind the scenes co-ordination.

Outside of work Shelly has Daphne a Boston Terrier, Norman a rescued ginger ninja cat who keep her busy, but she also runs her own training platform svn2rvn where she shares knowledge and tips with other nurses. Her home is often home to neonatal patients needing hand rearing or intensive nursing care.
