Lisa  qualified in 2010 From Edinburgh Napier University. Lisa was head nurse of a branch practice in West Lothian for 5 years, before joining the Hospital for Small Animals at Edinburgh Vet School in 2016 as a surgical nurse. In 2019 she became the service dedicated soft tissue surgery nurse and has been with the department ever since, and is very heavily involved in complex wound management - which she loves!

Lisa enjoys all aspects of soft tissue surgery but one of her passions is wound management and bandaging. She completed the Delving Deeper into Wounds course from BVNA in 2017, and in 2018 joined the Bandaging Angels to deliver in-house CPD to practices in the UK. 

Lisa has been an integral member of the Bandaging Angels ever since, most recently delivering lectures and workshops at UVE 24 conference in the Netherlands.

Outside of work, Lisa can be found training and competing her three dogs in agility and hoopers which keeps her very busy and travelling the country!
