Lia has been nursing for over 20 years, including out of hours and nights. She currently works as a night RVN three shifts a week to ensure she sees a good mix of OOH, medical nursing and wound management cases. 

Lia spends her time outside of work with her Welsh section C Pony called Ace, Sid her German Shepherd, Ned her Border Collie, and a very naughty one eyed stray kitten that she only fostered for a week…back in Feb 2024, so he is staying!

Lia is  currently training for the London marathon April 2025 to raise money for the Samaritans. She love being outdoors, walking, running, kayaking, riding. But equally love eating out and watching trashy tv!
