Joanna is based in Aberdeenshire. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009 then completed the ISFM diploma in feline friendly nursing in 2011. Her nursing journey started out in first opinion practice, and for the last 10 years she has worked in a small charity practice, where she enjoys the challenge of managing wound cases in the charity sector from a pragmatic approach. She has a strong interest in patient welfare and promoting the nurse's practical role in managing wounds, and loves nothing more than teaching and supporting those around her.
