Fiona grew up around farm life and had a keen interest in all things animal & horses; owning a sheep flock which she bred from, and horses which she competed with. After leaving school Fiona went on to gain and qualify in equine management and completed her BHS stages to level 3. She then moved into the veterinary profession and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002.

Fiona is passionate about all aspects of animal care but has a special interest in wounds and their management and after completing the 'Delving Deeper into Wounds' Certificate has joined the Bandaging Angels team to help educate others in the veterinary profession.

Outside of work Fiona is kept busy with a menagerie of animals, including dogs, cats and guinea pigs!
