Claire has been an RVN for 12 years, at a small animal practice dealing with both first opinion and referral cases. During that time, Claire has assisted with student nurse training, and always strived for top quality care for her patients. 

Claire passed her NCert in Emergency and critical care in 2015, which started her love of wound management. She then went on to complete the BSAVA merit award in Wound management in 2020. Claire is very passionate about improving the standard of wound care, but also enjoys intensive care nursing and anaesthesia. 

Claire has has an article published in the VNJ about a wound case and has also recently delved into the world of webinars which she would like to develop further. 

In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her two children, and her cat Pixie.
